DP World Bosaso, in Puntland, is Launching its first “GROW” program, part of DP 1
World’s commitment to contribute to the development and upskilling of young, local graduates in the communities where we operate.
The 24-month programme seeks to accelerate the growth of local graduates by providing them with advanced training and on the job experience to increase their future employment prospects, as well as enable DP World in Bosaso to build a talent pool of future leaders across the business.
Each trainee performance will be evaluated periodically. We are offering training opportunities for J2 young talents in the following fields.
- Operations
- Planning engineer
- Mechanical Engineer
- Electrical Engineer
- Administrator
- Accountant – 2 Positions
- Human Resources – 2 Positions
- Safety Officer
- IT help desk – 2 positions
Qualifications, Knowledge and skills required are; 1
- Degree (minimum 2 years after Secondary school) in any of the following areas: Health 6‹ Safety, Legal, planning engineering, Procurement, accounting, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology and business administration.
- Passion to learn and gain experience
- Good Behavior and attitude.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Somali
- Good team player
- Advanced user for MS Office
- Preferable age to be below 30 years old
Previous professional experience in the above-mentioned areas will be an advantage.
Panel interviews will be conducted with applicants who will be shortlisted. The closing date to receive applications will be 6th of January 2023
