Program Assistant -FSL IYCF Counselor (1 Position) Open to Somali Nationals Only

ROLE DIMENSION
Save the Children operates across all zones in Somalia/Somaliland and currently has three main area offices and additional 11 field offices. Programmatically Somalia is a large Country Office with more than $100million annual budget turnover, more than 70 active awards at any time and over 650 staff.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Programme Assistant- FSL IYCF Counselor will be responsible for day-to-day program implementation and managing community outreach activities to ensure efficient and effective sensitization, mobilization and participation of the targeted communities and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least Higher Diploma Qualification or Bachelor degree Social Science.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential
- One-year Experience
- Experience in community mobilization/Education management/ Cash distributions/ case management and relationship techniques.
- Good verbal and written communication and relationship building skills.
- Experience in community mobilization/Education management/ Cash distributions/ case management and relationship techniques.
- Basic knowledge of project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Good understanding in local language and culture practises.
- Basic understanding of child right frameworks.
